Terms of service
Last updated October 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and emiit for using the website, dashboard, API and SDK. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use emiit on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf.
01Your account
You sign in with GitHub or Google and are responsible for activity in your workspace, including requests made with your API keys. Keep keys secret and revoke any that leak.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
02Acceptable sending
Only send email to people who have agreed to receive it or who expect it as part of using your product. Do not use emiit for spam, purchased or scraped lists, phishing, malware, or anything illegal.
Honour unsubscribe requests and do not try to get around suppression, rate limits or sending quotas.
We may pause sending automatically when bounce or complaint rates are high, and we may suspend workspaces that break these rules or put deliverability for other customers at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first.
03Your content
You own your templates, components and the data you send. You give us permission to store, render and deliver them only as needed to run the service. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to send it, including any images, links and recipient data.
04AI drafts
Drafts from the AI assistant may be wrong or unsuitable. Review them before sending. Use of the assistant is subject to a usage quota.
05Plans and payment
The free plan has no charge. Paid plans are billed in advance each month and renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; we do not refund partial months unless the law requires it.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
06Availability and changes
We work to keep emiit running and reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you pay for, we will give reasonable notice.
07Ending the agreement
You can stop using emiit and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if you break these terms. After an account is closed, we delete its content as described in the privacy policy.
08Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you have not paid us anything.
09Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and tell account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use emiit after that means you accept the new terms.
